I recently visited a charming local pub and was absolutely taken by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The décor was cosy with vintage railway memorabilia that added a lovely touch. I ordered a classic fish and chips, and it was cooked to perfection, flaky and golden with just the right amount of crunch. My friends had the burger and the vegetarian option, and they raved about the flavours too! The service was prompt and attentive, and our waiter even recommended a fantastic craft beer that complemented the meal beautifully. My only minor critique would be that the seating could be a bit more spacious; it felt a tad cramped during the evening rush. Still, the vibe was lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for a night out. I can’t wait to go back, perhaps to try their Sunday roast next time!

I’ve been to my fair share of pubs, but this one really stands out! The ambience is incredible, with friendly faces everywhere you look. I visited with my partner on a Saturday evening, and the atmosphere was buzzing without feeling overwhelming. The highlight of the night was definitely the extensive range of craft beers on tap; I tried a few different ones and enjoyed each one. The staff were knowledgeable and took the time to recommend drinks based on my preferences. We also ordered a sharing platter, which was a feast for the eyes and tummy! Everything was fresh and well-prepared. If I had to nitpick something, I’d say the dessert menu could use a bit more variety. But honestly, that’s a small issue in an otherwise perfect evening. We’ve already made plans to return next week to bring our friends along and share this gem of a spot with them!

What a delightful find! I stumbled upon this place while searching for somewhere to unwind after work, and I couldn’t be happier. The atmosphere is inviting, with a good mix of locals and visitors, making it feel like a community hub. I tried their homemade pie, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve had. Packed with meat and served with buttery mash, it was just divine. The drinks menu was extensive, offering local ales and unique cocktails. I particularly enjoyed the gin and tonic selection they featured – perfect for a summer evening. One area for improvement could be the music; it was a bit on the loud side, making it hard to engage in conversation at times. Nevertheless, the overall experience was fantastic, and I left with a smile on my face and plans to return with friends for a lively weekend evening!

This pub is truly a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly smile from the bartender, which set the tone for a wonderful evening. The ambience was relaxing, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. I decided to try the steak, and it was cooked exactly to my liking – tender and juicy. The selection of sides was great too, particularly the garlic mushrooms! My only suggestion would be to perhaps add a few more vegetarian options to the main menu, as my friend struggled a bit with choices. Nevertheless, we both had a fantastic time and ended our meal with a couple of drinks from their fantastic cocktail menu. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t recommend it enough!

I had a great time here last weekend! The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The drinks were reasonably priced, which made it easier to try a few different cocktails. I’ll be back soon for sure!
